This kind letter was sent to me and I would like to share it with all from 10/11/19 I would like to share what a positive impression your band left during their attendance at the football game in Blacksburg on Friday night. Your band played enthusiastically during the entire game and sounded great, even from the parking lot! I was very impressed to see how professionally the band and color guard came across the field to attentively watch the performance of the BHS band's halftime show. They were respectful and truly interested in the performers on the field, including cheering for the soloists. It's refreshing to see a program nurturing respectful young adults. Thank you for all the work you are doing as a music program. You should be very proud. Sincerely |

Cave Spring High School participated in the "MV for a Day" event at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Sept. 8th. We had 32 students participate and were by far the largest band represented.
The kids had a blast and Tech won as well!!
